September - Early Thoughts and My Aim

My aim from the beginning is to produce an EP that combines many of my musical influences. I have always enjoyed a broad range of genres, from classical to jazz to rock and everything in between; hopefully I can combine some of these genres in a way unique to me. I would then like to market and release this to the general public and hopefully perform it live.

After discarding ideas from Coltrane inspired harmony to live electronic drums I have settled on wanting to produce a rock fusion EP. Inspired by bands like Polvo and Ride, I want this EP to have a raw, garage-rock aesthetic. I am now deciding instrumentation, the amount of songs and how they are going to link.
